Keep in mind that Noctis is the Japanese name, it has a chance of being changed when localized.

Not a very large chance, but a chance none the less.

i doubt that the names will change. Noctis isnt hard to pronounce in english. And i hope it's not Sarah. If they it so, they'll have 2 sarahs, one is garnet and the other one, nom-chan.

they should of just gone with storm, thats what the majority of the fans call him anyway, and im pretty sure they wouldn't call 2 characters the same so my guess is they'll go with senon, its more fiting with the other ff names :)

Technically you're talking 3 Sarah's - original Final Fantasy princess, Garnet in Final Fantasy IX, and now Pigtail Girl. I could see her being called Sarah to let people know that they're remembering the original series in making this, and that they intend to remain true to it, despite the huge visual differences so far.

I could see it becoming something like Sera though.

Noctis, eh, I'm torn. I like the sound of it, but I don't know if its very...namey.

Garnet's actual name is Seila, not Sarah. Anyway, I don't like the names..Noctis? Stella? They sound stupid :/

Seila? Where did that come from? Makes me think of a Heroes villain (with a different spelling obviously). You might want to double-check the game, its definately Sarah.

Oh and mee, I'd actually forgotten about FF3!Sara, so thats Sarah in the original FF, Sara in III, Garnet!Sarah in IX, and now possibly another one, make it 4 not 3 XD

I found Garnet's real name is Sarah (I played US version)
and the girl in pigtail name is Serra, since it's pronouced from japanese we don't know the exact name later...
and Mr. 33cm (blonded man shown in ffxiii) name is Snow..

About Noctis, means night and Stella means star.. both are they are related
I though his name was Somnus back then.. I prefer Somnus(means sleep) than Noctus
